“Having my own salon is something I have always dreamed about; ever since I was a little girl, it has been my objective and my passion. Being at the helm of your own professional life and working on your own terms is something I have always valued,” says hairdresser and entrepreneur Angie Zappa, who opened Soa Cheveux in July of 2004.
Located a stone’s throw from Papineau street on Mont-Royal, Soa Cheveux offers haircuts and styling for women, men and children. The salon’s golden rules are professionalism and humanity. “Hairdressing requires a great deal of professionalism. But what makes a salon standout among its peers is an ability to welcome its customers and put them at ease; warm, friendly service is something we take pride in here,” says Angie. “So many salons have a certain snobby vibe; our artisans are as professional as they are personable.”
