Little Marina Ristorante & Pizzeria

Rudest owner ever! First, she was not too pleased that I didnt want to order the specials. Then when I asked for water, she brought out bottled water without asking. I havent used bottled water for years, always used refillable bottle due to environmental reason. When I asked her to give me tab water instead, she started telling me that tab water is not drinkable. When I insisted, she started YELLING AT ME IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN FOR MAKING HER SERVING ME.

We should have taken the hit when we walked in and no one was sitting in the restaurant at 6 PM and the air-conditioning was not turned on even thou outside/inside temperature was at about 30C. Service was OK and they turned on the AC. I ordered the veal special with pasta and garlic toast and a veal sandwich for my wife. The sandwich came with two small over cooked slices of tough veal, one very thin slice of cheese and an over toasted, very small bun. You can get better on an Air Canada inflight meal. My meal came with a slightly larger and 2 piece of tough veal covered in homemade tomato sauce, a single serving of common white flour spaghetti and three small slices of white bread garlic toast. So much for being told that the food was fresh homemade Italian food. The taste of the food was pleasant but needed to be much hotter. As a side note, the washrooms were clean with half the lights out but with the standard basement smell. However, you still need to be able to climb steep stairs to the basement but watch out for the vinyl carpet stair covers. They could make your have a fast short trip.

Very impressed with food and service. Authentic Italian home cooking at it's best.. Had Cheese Cannelloni and Veal Parmesan . Ended meal with espresso ..Will definitely be back!!

Poor portions

stopped in and had a salami sandwich, paid $8.00 plus tax for probably the worst sandwich I have ever had. Ordered a salami sandwich, it arrived on an Italian bun which was nice but it lacked filling. There was 3 very thinly sliced peices of meat and 2 even thinner slices of cheese. They may have just used meat flavoured butter. The sandwich was all bun no substance and I would not recommend anyone wasting their money on such nonsense. Left hungry and unsatisfied.

Best pizza we've ever had! The ingredients are great quality and fresh - it made all the difference in the world. The lovely little lady who took my order actually makes everything herself - from SCRATCH!!! you can taste the old world difference and it was totally worth the extra it cost for 2 large pizzas (just over $40)

The food is delicious, hot and proportionally served fresh. The tomato sauce is excellent, not to rich or acidic. If you want a fresh cooked home-made Italian dinner you will love this restorante.
