Best sushi in Ottawa!

Wow, this is miles better than most sushi places in town, including some that claim to be authentically Japanese and then go on to charge you $25/person for *crunchy* sashimi (yes, you read that right). I'd much gladly spend my money at Sushi 88. Wonderful, creative rolls, good service, most definitely coming back.

This was an okay sushi places, however nothing was outstanding or exceptional that would convince me to visit again. I ordered the fancy salmon sushi dish where it had the salmon sushi and sashimi. It was a little plain and mellow for sushi and it really didn't taste too fresh. I also ordered a seafood udon noodle soup to take home for dinner which had a little too many fish cakes in it. Overall this place is decent, a little on the pricey side. I have yet to discover a delicious tasting sushi place in Ottawa and I'm not really that picky.

A cute small little sushi shop which has a very pleasant atmosphere to it. I found the sushi to be enjoyable and the prices were pretty average (not to high but also not that cheap). I would say this place is great if you want a quick fix for sushi, but if you're expecting a really fancy upscale and high quality type of sushi then this place is probably not for you.

Small restaurant with friendly waiter. The sushi was okay, not the greatest and the prices tend to be a little bit high but a lot more affordable then other Japanese restaurants in Ottawa. One suggestion, make reservations especially if you coming in a large group since the place is fairly small.

A regular favorite for take out and eat in. Staff is friendly, always making you feel welcome. Meals are prefaced by small salad with the most remarkable dressing! sushi, and everything else is very tastey. We always leave feeling like we have had something special.

A really good, small and cozy sushi place which is reasonably priced. The service is kind, but not always the quickest as often they are a bit short staffed. The spider rolls are great. The restaurant can often be a bit chilly so bring a sweater along.
