I was so disappointed in the pizza I ordered tonite. Thin crust spinach pizza came covered in so much cheese (I had not ordered extra) that I could not even pick it up; honestly, it was barely edible and was a mess. When I called to express disappointment that my order was processed incorrectly, service did not listen to my concern, did not offer to do anything about it, and agreed with me that I should not order there again. That will be an easy agreement to keep.
This place looked promising from the outside... "old" restaurant look. Upon entering, we noticed that it's owned by Moe, who also owns the Newport restaurant nearby. We thought it'd be good then, since the pizza at Newport is pretty good. We just wanted some takeout pasta and ended up paying $11 for overcooked cheap spaghetti and (I'm almost positive) plain crushed tomatoes instead of bona fide sauce. Absolutely ridiculous! The pizza may be OK, according to the other reviewers, but I'll avoid this place like the plague and take my chances somewhere else!
A few co-workers decided to go out for lunch and heard that the food was good at Donna's so we gave it a chance. It was quite crowded, waitress was not that friendly or helpful. The food was the worst fish and chips myself and others who also ordered it ever had and still get grossed out at the thought of the food there. Some people also ordered the pizza and were not satisfied either. Overall not a good experience as it took a very long time to get our not good food, service was bad and again food was not good! Will not go there ever again~
The Food is always great there. I usually order out and pick up myself. The only thing I don't like is that I never really know when they are closing. The restaurant hours are not consistent on Sundays. I ended up trying a pizza somewhere else and liked it almost just as much and their hours are consistent and they always deliver too.

An Ottawa institution, Mo Atallah’s humble eatery still draws in the crowds – and I mean people of all ages. The staff is as loyal as a clientele - no one has worked here less than 10 years. Expect plenty, except do not expect to pay a fortune.

The gourmet Thai chicken pizza (the chicken is marinated in a spicy peanut, ginger and sesame sauce and accented with mozzarella, green onions, bean sprouts, julienne carrots and cilantro) is an intriguing and popular choice, while the more low-key but just as yummy George’s vegetarian will have you hooked.
