Our goal is to offer Ottawa and Gatineau's men a clothing store where they can get great fashions, receive service that is second-to-none and always feel like they got solid value for their money!
Yannick Beauvalet lovingly arranges the suits at L’HEXAGONE, his men’s clothing store, so they lie perfectly symmetrical to each other. He looks distinguished but approachable in a three-piece grey suit with a blue beaded bracelet on his wrist.
Behind him stand steel racks laden with every manner of clothes: shirts, pants and scarves. Ties of different styles and hues hang near the front – some sport polka dots, others are striped, a few paisley. Shoulder bags line the wooden shelves. Spotlights bounce off the grey concrete floors, enhancing their shine. “The atmosphere is very masculine and inviting,” says Yannick.
Yannick’s passion for fashion dates back to his childhood. “Even as a kid I always liked clothes,” he says. He was picky about what he wore, and would set out his outfit the day before. His interest in men’s apparel grew when he started working in boutiques during his teenage years. He imagined opening his own clothing business, and finally realized that wish after finding a business partner, Etienne. L’HEXAGONE (French for “The Hexagon”), named after the six-sided borders of France, opened its doors in 2012.
