Thought I would check out the new renovation of the Orelans location. Haven't been to a St Hubert in 20 years, and it will be another 20 years before I go back. Hard to find even a single good thing to say, as there was so many problems. To begin with, we waited 5-10 minutes before we received a greeting. We ordered our meal complimented with a pitcher of beer. After waiting another 5 minutes or so, the waitress arrived with 2 bowls of coleslaw, of which one order was incorrect. I asked to have the order corrected. When the waitress arrived with the correct coleslaw, I asked her what we were suppose to eat it with as we were not provided cutlery. After she arrived with the cutlery waving in her hand, I asked where our pitcher of beer was. She said the bartender was busy, which did not appear so as we were in view of the bar. The waitress then went to pour the beer herself. When the meal arrived, we began eating and realized that we were not provided napkins. We had to get up from our seats and go ask the bartender for napkins. While we were eating our meal, the waitress came and asked my wife if she was finished eating. This was asked while my wife was still holding her cutlery while cutting into her meal. We had to tell the waitress we would let here know when we were done eating. Just when you thought this nightmare was over, the waitress brought the check after running through our credit card. There was no pen to sign the credit card bill with, so we had to get her attention and ask for a pen. During this entire meal service, we had to look at a table of dirty dishes that was adjacent to ours. The table of patrons adjacent to the dirty dish table had to wait over an hour to receive their meal and then had to track down the manager to get resolution. Now that you have renovated the restaurant, it's time to renovate the staff, including the sadly appearance of the restaurant manager.
