Having been a successful owner of more than 52 salon the owner of the Ottawa Academy noticed the need for Advanced Education in the Beauty field. Realizing that basic education was “not enough”, he decided to enlist the help of top-notch educators and create a curriculum that not only met the standards, but allowed students to excel in the beauty industry. Ottawa Academy ensures that each student is taught the techniques needed to quickly advance in their chosen field. Our highly trained and respected educators are constantly upgrading their skills to ensure training remains “ahead” and our curriculum content is constantly revised and additions are made.

Students learn by demonstration, visual aids and hands-on practice. As growth in this industry reaches new heights and new spas and salons open, our students are sought after to fill these positions. The beauty career is challenging and rewarding and personal growth has no boundaries. Graduates will have an abundance of employment opportunities – spas, salons, and sales and marketing, cosmetic firms, management, ownership – to name a few. The high quality of standards, the comprehensive courses and clinical practice ensures that graduates are well trained and highly qualified to commence their chosen career. The Ottawa Academy is a modern up-to-date facility located in the Gloucester Centre, 1980 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa, Ontario.     I did Facial and Manicure certificate courses in Aug18. I really enjoyed learning here. They were extremely supportive and always tried to make sure that all students understand the concepts well. I personally dropped in as a fresher not knowing anything but they have done the best. I will definitely recommend Ottawa Academy to my friends and family looking to make a career in the beauty industry.

    I got a deluxe facial and thorough consultation on my skincare regime, I felt great after the facial. The consultant complimented me on things I was doing right so far and gave me some great advice on how to move forward from here. It was a great experience, top notch service!

    I got a very nice haircut here. I have also tried the pedicure/manicure service which was great. The staff is very cordial and professional and the whole experience was pure luxury! Loved it!
