April 26 and I ordered Ribs and Chicken ,the chicken was done perfectly as was the baked potato but the ribs and vegetable were most disappointing ,the vegetables were so undercooked as to be raw and the ribs were the flat piece at the end full of grizzle .I will not be returning to your establishment.
Went here for a Christmas party recently, and come here for lunch. Food was great as always, service was good, atmosphere is very nice, and would recommend it to others.
The set menu had very limited options, which 3/4 of was fish. This didn't set well as neither of us enjoy fish. When I asked our server for a napkin she directed me to the washroom instead of politely bringing one next time she visited the table. Upon asking if the set menu had to be followed we were advised we could leave and told we wouldn't be the first table to not want the set menu.
I think they would have had a more profitable evening not going with the set menu. It's unfortunate as the place is really nice and just seems to be missing that final punch in their menu. The first time I ate there the food wasn't terrible, it just wasn't overly amazing... I hope to see it come together as I really enjoy the atmosphere - the new owners have done a fantastic job of revamping and building into a really classy place for people to dine in Chatham! I will return, just hopefully not when there is a set menu!
