My husband took me there for Valentines Day, food and atmosphere was excellent.
I visited Magnum & Steins on my last visit home to Newfoundland and met up with an old friend there for dinner. This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we were very pleased with the food, environment, decor and service. The location is also amazing. There is a lot of option when choosing a place to eat in Downtown St. John's, however I highly recommend you make this restaurant a destination on your next visit.
the food was ok, nothing spectacular. but the service was horrendous! our entire table had to wait 3 hours for our food to arrive, and they didn't even offer anything to us for compensation!! HORRENDOUS!! it was my friend's birthday too. i am never going there again. worst restaurant service EVER.
The food and service was absolutely top notch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food portions were generous and cooked perfectly. It was a perfect evening.
